to the official Rancho Heights Road & Management Committee web site. Here you will find important information about your road committee and the roads that link us as a community. “The Neighborhood” section has additional helpful information provided by your neighbors about subjects of interest to all of us in the Rancho Heights community.
We encourage you to return to this site often. Timely and important notices will be posted on this page.
Just a friendly reminder that the speed limit on our roads is 25mph. Just like our community itself, traffic on our roads is growing.
Owners are reminded -- and asked to remind their guests, visitors and vendors -- that the posted speed limit on our roads is 25 miles per hour. Courtesy and safety require that drivers obey the speed limit and stick to their side of the road.
And ... the stop sign on Rancho Heights at the Y is for your protection. Use it!
Have a contractor or service company that has done a particularly fine job for you? Have your own business that you would like to promote to your neighbors?
The Yellow Pages section of this web site invites owners to submit postings to promote their businesses or recommend others. Click on Yellow Pages in the menu at left and then follow the link to the Yellow Pages submission form.

Communications
Property owners and anyone interested in the Rancho Heights community should know that all communications and representations of the Rancho Heights Road & Management Committee are made exclusively on this web site and/or by direct mail or Fed-X. All mailings by the Committee are clearly recognizable and will bear the signature(s) of one or more the elected officer(s) of this community.
Should any property owner or any of their legal representatives receive any communication appearing to come from the Committee but not bearing the identifying signature(s) of Chairman Kirk Ebmeier, Secretary Doug Eaton or Treasurer Jonathan Geller, the communication should be considered erroneous, having no valid or legal connection to your Committee. If you wish to validate any specific communication or information, please contact us at info@ranchoheights.com.
Though anonymous with no signatures, the mailing uses a version of the Committee name and return mailing address. It appears that the same individual or group has posted a web site with an address similar to this web site, the Committee’s official web site. Both the mailing and the web site are malicious in nature and contain misleading, false and potentially libelous information. The proper authorities have been notified.

As witnessed by the adjacent story, our gate -- while a valuable asset -- is not foolproof. Here are some things each owner can do to make our community more secure:
- DO NOT give your personal gate code to a worker, vendor, delivery person, real estate agent or other person who is visiting the community only on occasion.
- DO NOT post your personal gate code in an advertisement or invitation.
- If you see someone in a vehicle at the gate who appears to be waiting for someone else to come through to allow him in:
- Drive through the gate; stop just inside until the gate closes and the other vehicle cannot enter, or
- Question the person as to who he is visiting, what is the address, why doesn't he have a code to get in and/or cannot use the call box to gain access.
- If you see someone accessing the community inappropriately -- through the exit gate or by following another vehicle, note the license number, type of vehicle and time of day. Report this information to the Committee by clicking here.
Remember, the safest way for the community and the easiest way for your guests to access the area is to use the the gate dailer (call box). (See article on left.)
There is a simple and effective system in place to safely allow visitors into Rancho Heights.
First, the call box at the gate allows your visitor to call your home and ask you to open the gate after you have

In addition, a stolen vehicle was brought into the community on October 8 or early October 9 and set on fire in the area of the mailboxes. The threat to our community from an act such as this is obvious and, potentially, devastating.
If you witness suspicious activity and/or persons in progress, call 9-1-1.

Second, if you need to allow access temporarily for a worker, party guests, etc., you may request a temporary gate code that can be activated specifically at your request and deactivated when the need passes. To request a temporary gate code, click here.
